Details of any Innovations or extra value for money:
Piles were required to be installed to large embedments with the finished height of the top of the pile 10m below average tide. Toes of the piles finished approximately 30m below average tide. Piles were installed quickly to embedments using a spinning technique. Bearing capacity was then verified using a hydraulic hammer and CAPWAP analysis. CAPWAP data was fed live directly to the lab using a mobile broadband connection for Immediate results.
