21 Dec Glebe Island Wharf 8 – Wharf & Pile Renewal
SMC Marine were engaged to restore the structural stability and capacity for 22kPA live load for a 10year design life. Design and remediation work of the existing wharf including the following elements:
- Repair existing 58 Steel Jack Up Piles
- Installation of 77 new Steel Jack Up Piles
- Remediation of the timber substructure
- New Timber Headstocks
- Timber Headstock Supplement
- PFC Capwale Supplements
- PFC Girder Supplements
- Installation of new Stainless-Steel Safety Ladders
