The Chiswick Ferry Wharf project involved the complete demolition of the old ferry wharf, replaced by an entirely new wharf structure.

01. Role

The project was designed to a highly-finished standard requiring the following elements:

  1. Highly-finished stainless balustrading
  2. Robust blade wall glazing
  3. Architectural pod cladding
  4. Curved zinc roof structures
  5. Stainless steel sleeves to piles
  6. Architectural aluminium gangway with curved zinc roof
  7. Signage complying with the Wayfinding Program
  8. Electronic ticketing and hearing loop fitout and coordination

02. Outcome

The project was delivered to a strict schedule, as the wharf was fully closed during construction. Procurement planning and offsite fit out of the pontoon and gangway structures was critical.
